We got a chance to do a little wakesurfing over the weekend. The lakes were a bit more crowded that over the last few weeks, the weather has turned warm again and it’s been humid, so I guess everyone headed for the lake! We have a few webshots photo pages, we outgrew the first one and so had to add a second one. You can see some of those pictures on this FlyBoy Wakesurf Webshots photo album. We also wanted to show a quick unedited video of a trick we are renaming The Blender. It is a surface reverse into a surface 360. Now, to be a surface reverse, it has to be a single motion, not stopped with weight transfer. Even a stalled surface reverse is a single motion. Then at the bottom of the reverse, the trick goes immediately into a surface 360. As you know, we don’t edit any of our wakesurfing video or use any sort of a lens that intentionally misleads the viewer, not that we could anyway we just don’t know enough about cameras. We also don’t place the camera at a location or angle that intentionally misleads folks.
These pictures and the video are from eye level, or thereabouts depending upon how tired the photographer’s arm is. We want you to be able to rely on what you see on this site, as we discuss wakesurf boards so that you can make your own decisions about our products. That’s why we always show you falls and failures. We know you’re smart enough to make an informed decision and can pick through the hype and folks with agendas. We want you to be informed and we’ll always make an effort to treat you with respect by not editing videos, not posting intentionally distorted pictures and being the first to describe our failures during testing. We’ll also actually DO testing and share the results with you both good and bad.
